Child Sponsorship is donating to a child in need monthly. Your donation allows us to provide education support, food assistance, school supplies, and more to the child.

Esperanza House offers Bible Studies, summer camps, food distribution, after-school program, and more to our families and children.

Our child sponsorship program allows you to support your sponsored child until they reach the age of 18.

Through our program, you’re connected with one specific child, but your monthly donations are pooled for maximum effectiveness and sustainability.

Rather than giving direct cash benefits to one child, you join other sponsors to fund programs that help your sponsored child, their community, and other children in need overcome poverty and thrive.

As a sponsor, you can write to your sponsored child through email. Once you become a sponsor, we’ll provide guidance about writing to your sponsored child.

After sending a message, our staff will deliver it to your sponsored child. We recommend writing 2-4 times a year.

Yes. You can visit your sponsored child twice per year by scheduling a meeting through email. More meetings are possible with further discussion.

Yes. We encourage sending gifts on special occasions.

To maintain fairness, we ask that large or expensive gifts not be sent.

Monetary gifts will be handled by staff, and are used to purchase necessary or desired items.

Please contact us to arrange the sending of a gift to your sponsored child.

Yes! Esperanza House is a 501(c)(3) organization and your gifts are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

A child's situation may change over time. For instance, families may relocate, making it impossible for the child to continue participating. If this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you the opportunity to support another child in need.

To cancel your child sponsorship, you can do it by logging in to your customer account or contact us at (334) 246-3057 or esperanzahouse01@gmail.com. You may discontinue your sponsorship at any time.

We understand that financial situations can change. If you need to cancel your sponsorship, rest assured that your sponsored child will continue to receive care until a new sponsor is found. You may end your sponsorship at any time.
